Dead In 5 evoking a sonic mash up of Clutch, Soundgarden, White Zombie and Led Zeppelin, the band’s dirty outlaw rock will make you raise your fists in salute to their musical juggernaut. It’s “Sons of Anarchy” meets “Fight Club” set in the post-apocalyptic “Mad Max” environment of Detroit Rock City.

Be Under Arms formed at the beginning of 2013 by vocalists Anna and Vladimir, EP “Way of the bullet” was immediately recorded, and then in September 2013 come out single «Panem et Circenses. In 2014 they released their first full-length album “Let shots will be your music”. The material undergoes some changes, and in April 2015 recorded EP “Locked and Bound”. Their second full-length album Doomed To Life was released in March 2016. Style of Be Under Arms combines Groove Metal, Metalcore, Hardcore and Melodic death metal. Concept of the band represents a unique atmosphere of old westerns combined with steampunk and modern urbanized world. They are combined melodic and measured and intertwined with hurricane rhythms and heavy riffs. Male and female vocals complement each other and take us forward fury scorched prairies , where the hand can only handle a gun.

STROY starts with Miloš Meier and his drumming workshops where he decided to invite Michal Skorepa as his guest guitarist. They enjoyed their instrumental jams so much that they finally decided to become a band – a band without any borders in expressing themselves musically in the most natural way, no matter what the radio wants.

They started composing songs influenced by the music they loved – the passion they couldn’t express in the other projects they were part of. Metal, high technical quality and energy in Miloš’s drumming was combined with Michal’s dirty 90’s grunge guitar sound and his expressive singing (among the youngest singers in the world to be cast as both Jesus and Judas in Czech version of Jesus Christ Superstar). Both guitar and vocal parts (often in chords) were partly influenced by modern classical and jazz harmonies; Michal studied the jazz/classic piano on the conservatory. The lyrics were mostly about the resurrection of mankind’s forgotten instinct and returning to its nature. Rather a more social, than political statement.

The duo became a trio when Michal invited his friend, bass player Jakub Antl – jazz/classic double-bass player. Because of his musical versatility and brilliant technique learned from his teenage years playing bass in rock bands, he fitted the band perfectly. Finally there’s STROY – a band based on artistic freedom, saying anything they want with their music and their lyrics. STROY released their debut Adam Reborn in late 2014.

The single “Adam Reborn” was nominated #6 of the Top 10 local songs of 2014 by the biggest culture webzine in Czech Republic. The music video of Adam Reborn rose to the top of various music programs and publications in Czech Republic. In 2015, Story won the National Competition of the Global Battle of the Bands in Czech Republic. The band competed during the World Final and earn 3rd place Worldwide.

Forever Still

Forever Still are a completely honest and emotional in-your-face heavy rock band with no excuses. The band’s wide array of brooding beats, atmospheric electronic textures, and stocky guitar riffs, all compliment vocal powerhouse Maja Shining’s emotionally revealing lyrics, which range from soft lullaby tones to scathing and aggressive full throttle screams.

Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, and consisting of Maja Shining and Mikkel Haastrup, the band have built a large following by delivering breath-taking shows fuelled by a consecutive level of very high-quality releases – this is no small feat, especially for a truly DIY band with no major backing.

In 2013, Forever Still released their debut EP “Breaking Free” to extensive critical acclaim and widely toured the record throughout Scandinavia. The following year the band returned to the studio to record the first of three EPs that now make up their full-length concept album ‘Tied Down’. The record grapples with a glut of personal issues stemming from depression, anxiety, and worthlessness, through to perseverance and recovery. The first EP picked up glowing reviews, as did the second record entitled ‘Save Me’. The sophomore EP was released in April 2015 and Forever Still undertook a hugely successful European tour, which saw the rock stars headline their first run of UK dates.

Having returned from their latest tour, the band hit the studio again to lay down tracks for their third and final chapter in the EP trilogy. Forever Still now unleash their eagerly awaited debut full-length album “Tied Down”, which will drop October 21, 2016 through Nuclear Blast, followed by extensive European touring.

Raise Your Fall

Raise Your Fall are energetic pop-punk quintet hailing from Italy knows how to catch your attention mixing harmonic female and male vocals with dynamic and catchy riffs. With two EPs on board, including their latest one “Echoes”, and a selection of notable local shows including a support for the Canadian trio Courage My Love, Raise Your Fall are getting ready to spread their music beyond their frontiers hitting the UK for the first time in January 2017.

The Barren Marys

The Barren Marys have popped up on our radar a few times, playing shows in town and though these guys are South Jersey natives they absolutely fit right in with our vibrant punk scene. This album had me right at the beginning with a Ghostbusters sample. Immediately after the pop culture reference, it’s nothing but searingly fast punk rock that is full of hooks, awesome musicianship and attention to detail that make this album rule so hard! Even though everything is tight as fuck, it doesn’t mean that the album loses it’s edge or becomes less punk, to me, it just shows that these guys can play and they used their ability to straight kill their self-titled album. Gang vocals, sick riffs, bass lines that move away from the main rhythm, drumming that has a ton of energy and awesome samples from movies / TV are all amazing elements you’ll hear on this record.
